Suos Sodavy's artwork

Here is Suos Sodavy's artwork.

The life and mines
110 (L) x 90 (H) cm
This mixed media painting is about life and landmines. It shows that with hunger, people do not think about the dangers. In the picture I have included the image from a mine detonation with smoke in the sky; also the mine sign and the red line warning people not to enter the mined areas. I have also incorporated the shadow of disabled people whose injuries were caused by landmines and people who live in contaminated areas.

After Demining
110 (L) x 90 (H) cm

This collage shows improving family conditions after demining has taken place. I took photographs of various business signs along the streets in Battambang which signify the increased economy, a positive situation for people post mine clearance.

We want to live without mines, and you?
110 (L) x 90 (H) cm
We all hate wars because they leave behind tragedy, there is never any gain. This collage includes a collection of hundreds of photographs depicting the active lives of students and children in both the countryside and the city. I have arranged these photographs according to the movement of light and shadow which then form my idea about this development.
